A Commercial Builder Built On Accountability

Aghorn Interests is a small, deliberately hands-on general contractor. The people who price your project are the people who put it in the ground.

Our Story

Founded in Keller in 2010, and still run the same way.

Aghorn Interests, LLC opened its doors in Keller, Texas in 2010 to do one thing well: build commercial and office projects for owners who value a straight answer over a long sales cycle.

We took the name onto job trailers across North Texas and kept the company intentionally lean, so experience stays on the field instead of behind a desk. A commercial project touches lenders, architects, city inspectors, and a dozen trades. When the same principal carries it from the first budget through the warranty walk, decisions get made in hours instead of weeks, and the owner is never the last to know.

That short chain of command is the point, not a limitation. It is the reason the number an owner gets early tends to be the number they pay, and the reason a schedule we hand over is a schedule you can plan around.

The Principal

Basil J. Privett, Founder and Principal of Aghorn Interests, LLC.

Basil Privett studied construction at Texas A&M University and has spent more than two decades delivering commercial buildings across the Southwest. His background runs from ground-up office and healthcare facilities to retail and restaurant work, the kind of projects where an opening date is not a suggestion.

Along the way he has handled the parts owners rarely see: entitlements and zoning, platting, civil and geotechnical coordination, and the preconstruction math that decides whether a deal pencils. He brings that whole picture to every Aghorn project, from the first budget conversation through closeout.

  • Texas A&M University, construction background
  • 20+ years in commercial construction and development
  • Entitlements through closeout, carried by one principal
  • Office, medical, retail, and tenant-improvement sectors
  • Preconstruction pricing built to finance against

How We Work

Three commitments we do not bend on, whatever the sector or the schedule.

Straight Numbers

Our estimates are meant to be financed against, not negotiated up later. If we do not know a cost yet, we say so and go find out before it ends up on your budget.

A Short Chain of Command

Fewer hand-offs means fewer places for a project to lose money or momentum. You talk to the person making the calls, from the first budget to the warranty walk.

Build It Once

Quality control is cheaper than rework. We would rather slow down at the detail than come back after the tenant moves in and a certificate of occupancy is on the line.

Talk to the builder, not a salesperson.

Bring the site, the drawings, or just the idea. We will tell you what is realistic to build and what it should cost.
